How did I get here?
I am a Spiritivity coach which means I help people to connect with their own soul, discover what’s holding them back and how to create the lives they always wanted to live or were supposed to live.
I don’t know when my spiritual journey began, but I do remember milestones and they are milestones for me not necessarily for others.
My earliest memory of “knowing” was when I knew that my Maths teacher was pregnant from my English teacher, even though nobody knew that they were a couple. I was 12 years at the time. Shortly after, they announced that they are getting married and a beautiful and healthy son was born 9 months later. I still have that image of her in front of my inner eye, when she came into the classroom that day and I just knew…. I am not even sure if she herself realised that a soul has decided to be part of our physical world and has chosen her as their mother.
My quilt “Sphericon” is another milestone: Going through my first years of personal development I just touched the surface of the ocean of possibilities within spirituality. Which I as well discovered was something very different from religion. Feeling that I am in very friendly waters I trustfully let me guide by my special friend Archangel Michael. One day, being on holidays in the very south of Italy I received this image of the quilt, I wasn’t even meditating, just walking down to the beach. I couldn’t get a piece of paper fast enough into my hands, making sure that I will remember until I am back home and have access to my sewing machine. This image is representing my breakthrough, my awareness of my inner light and consciously allowing it to shine and making use of my gifts. Just knowing that we are all part of God and that the Source is within us and we are all connected in this Universe.
I feel very blessed being able to live in the part of the world where I feel my spiritual home is. This hasn’t always been the case and my longing was very strong to come to beautiful Aotearoa/New Zealand. Fortunately I found my partner was feeling similarly. Without knowing, we applied the Law of Attraction to migrate from Germany to New Zealand. To me it always seemed to be impossible due to various regulations, laws, and what not but we visualized it each day how life here would be. Our whole house was a huge vision board, now that I analyse it in hindsight.
Education wise I was early interested in helping people and somehow I must have felt the drive for immigration as well because I decided to become a Hotel Specialist. I learned great skills and was able to develop personally as well as I had to push myself out of my comfort zone. After a few years I realised that a big part of me is completely ignored and that was my creativity. The field within hospitality wasn’t the playground I was looking for and so decided to become a Jewellery Designer. What a joy to follow consciously the process of creativity from an idea to the final product, the manifestation. Another creation process begun when starting a family with my partner. Slowly my work evolved into textile and over the years I became an internationally showing Quilter and Textile Artist. I discovered that nearly every quilt of mine has had a spiritual meaning for me at the time of creation. What a great time I had.
Now being a Spiritivity life coach I am able to combine my life experience with my passion paired with my intuition and tap into a huge skill set to do the most rewarding work I can think of: helping people to follow their dreams, supporting them through the process of creation, keeping them in tune with their life purpose and aligned to their goals.
